Established in 1886, Gill & Company is located in Mumbai, a historic center for the Indian cotton trade. We are an integrated originator of cotton, operating as a full- fledged trading and merchandising house.

Our core focus is sourcing baled cotton from all cotton-growing regions across India. This requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field, supported by effective risk management and a well-established warehousing and logistics network within the cotton supply chain. Our goal is to provide our customers with superior quality cotton, backed by our High Volume Instrument (HVI) classification system, which measures fiber length, micronaire, strength, color, trash, and length uniformity, ensuring reduced contamination and timely delivery.

Gill & Company has the privilege of supplying Indian cotton to leading domestic mills and has been exporting to prominent textile mills in major cotton-consuming countries worldwide, as well as to renowned multinational companies, for many decades.
